Urgent humanitarian assistance to the owners of small and medium-sized businesses in order to lessen the burden of the economic crisis on families and build institutional capacity in the neighborhood.

Project Justification

1- The total or partial closure of thousands of institutions, leaving families without a reliable source of income or with an income insufficient to meet the basic needs of daily life.

2- The difficult living conditions faced by Lebanon’s most vulnerable families as a result of the country’s recent economic deterioration.

3- Difficulties in the continuation of small and medium-sized businesses due to losses that increase as the local currency’s exchange rate against the dollar rises.

Project Goals

1- Improving the capabilities of local small and medium-sized businesses.

2- Social and economic empowerment of families, especially those headed by women.

3- Helping productive small and medium enterprises to withstand and continue.

4- Reducing the economic and social burden on families that own small and medium production enterprises.
