Ghirass for Society Development completed the first stage of the Tamkeen project, which was sponsored by Al Baraka Bank, on Saturday 20/4/2019. The project’s goal is to assist female breadwinners in launching a small productive project that will provide money for them and their families.
The first stage of the project included a three-day entrepreneurship course led by coach Mostafa Akkawi of the International Academy for Capacity Building, with the main axes being the characteristics of a successful entrepreneur, how to set personal goals, the marketing plan, studying the financial plan, and designing the business plan.
At the end of the course, the General Manager at Al Baraka Bank, Mr. Mutasim Mahmassani, met the participating women at the bank’s horizon training center, where he welcomed them, wished them success, and awarded them with certificates of participation.
The project targeted 11 Lebanese and Palestinian women from various regions. You may follow us on our page if you wish to keep up with the project’s progress and learn more about the initiatives we’ve picked.
