The urgent humanitarian response to the families most in need of electricity due to their inability to pay generator subscription fees in light of the power outage for more than 16 hours in some Lebanese regions by providing a safe alternative capable of operating electrical appliances and lighting the entire house.

Project Justifications

1- The whole or partial closure of thousands of institutions left families without a consistent source of income or with an income insufficient to meet their basic needs.

2- Long-term power outages for more than 12 hours in most Lebanese regions.

3- The urgent demand for electricity particularly during the school year for online education in light of the country’s shutdown process.

4- The harsh living conditions endured by Lebanon’s most vulnerable households due to the recent deterioration of the economic situation.
