The urgent humanitarian assistance to families through the provision of food aid, including a ration, made up of dry goods, fresh vegetables, and chicken, to ensure that households receive a minimal amount of nutritionally balanced meals; thus, improving social cohesion and stability in the face of country-wide problems.

Project Justification

1- The whole or partial closure of thousands of institutions left families without a consistent source of income or with an income insufficient to meet their basic needs.

2- The harsh living conditions endured by Lebanon’s most vulnerable households due to the recent deterioration of the economic situation.

3- Significantly low rates of food security among vulnerable groups among Lebanese and displaced Syrians.

Project Goals

1- Contribute to achieving food security for both Lebanese and non-Lebanese households by providing a food ration that contains most of the nutritional needs.

2- Distributing a food ration to Lebanese and non-Lebanese families consisting of basic foodstuffs.

3- Reducing the economic and social hardship experienced by the most vulnerable households in Lebanon.
