Infant Formula
Urgent humanitarian response to families with children aged one to three by delivering milk and ensuring food security, which is a fundamental human right. This would strengthen social cohesion and stability in the face of the factors that burden parents, as the mother’s greatest fear is to see her children threatened with starvation.
Project Justification
1- The harsh living conditions endured by Lebanon’s most vulnerable households due to the recent deterioration of the economic situation.
2- The economic collapse in Lebanon had immediate impacts on children after the crisis of milk shortages
3- Significantly low rates of food security among vulnerable groups of the Lebanese
Project Goals
1- Contribute to achieving food security for both Lebanese and non-Lebanese households by delivering three boxes of Nido (formula) to each household with children aged one to three.
2- Distributing a milk ration to Lebanese and non-Lebanese families with children aged one to three.
3- Reducing the economic and social burden on the most needy Lebanese and non-Lebanese families with children aged one to three.
