Winter Aid
The urgent humanitarian response to Lebanese and non-Lebanese families by providing them with the necessary winter aid and the minimum necessities of life to help them withstand and enhance social cohesion and stability in the face of life’s burdens.
Project Justification
1- The unprecedented deterioration of the living conditions in the country coincided with the disappearance of the majority of essential goods from the market.
2- The total or partial closure of thousands of institutions, leaving families without a reliable source of income or with an income insufficient to meet the basic needs of daily life.
3- The collapse of the Lebanese pound against the US. Dollar, as it has lost about 90% of its value since the beginning of the crisis.
Projects Goals
1- Supplying the family’s requirements over the winter, as winter aid is considered in its list of priorities.
2- Protecting the family from the bitter cold and the diseases that it causes.
3- Reducing as much as feasible the financial difficulties associated with the family’s specific winter demands.
4- Mending the wounds of families by empathizing with them and providing their needs to alleviate their pain as much as possible.
