Qurbani
The urgent humanitarian response to the most needy Lebanese and non-Lebanese families by distributing Qurbani meat, starting from the day of Eid Al Adha and the following days of Tashreeq.
Project Justification
1- The whole or partial closure of thousands of institutions left families without a consistent source of income or with an income insufficient to meet their basic needs.
2- The harsh living conditions endured by Lebanon’s most vulnerable households due to the recent deterioration of the economic situation.
3- Significantly low rates of food security among vulnerable groups in Lebanon.
Project goals
1- Reducing the financial hardship experienced by the most vulnerable households through offering sacrificed meat.
2- Bringing happiness and joy into these families and allowing them to experience Eid as any other family.
3- Reviving the Sunnah of the Sacrifice, which is one of the religious rites that Islam urged because of its reward, and to spare the poor from asking on the days of Eid, as recommended by the Prophet (PBUH)
4- Enhancing the sense of brotherhood, cementing the meanings of love, and empathizing with the pain of needy families.
