Family Life Forum: Breaking Piont

Girass for Society Development conducted the first prisoners’ life forum in Istanbul, Turkey under the slogan “A Breaking Point”.
Under the sponsorship and presence of the Ministry of Family and Social Affairs and the Turkish-Lebanese Interparliamentary Friendship Group, the forum drew 500 participants from 36 Arab countries, Asia, Europe, Africa, and South America, from institutions specializing in family and woman issues, charities, and international bodies and institutions.
The forum included seminars and workshops that addressed the requirements of the family and the issues it encounters in the face of conflicts, wars, stability, and legal protection for the family, as well as giving examples and experiences from a group of families and females breadwinners.
The participants discussed the reality of laws and regulations that affect the family’s condition in light of the standards of fair laws in order to achieve sustainable development.
