A delegation of the Zakat Fund in Bekaa, headed by Mr. Kamal Al Afash, Director of the Zakat Fund, Sheikh Ziad Haifa, Sheikh Wissam Anouz and Mr. Kamal Abu Ali, visited “Ghirass” Center in Bekaa. They were received by “Ghirass” Executive Director, Mr. Ziad Taktaq, and the official of Bekaa Office, Eng. Louay Srouji.
Means of cooperation were discussed between the two sides, in addition to discussing people’s needs in light of Lebanon’s economic crisis and recalling the late Mufti Sheikh Khalil al-Mays’ role in humanitarian work and his impact on meeting people’s needs over decades, as well as his role in establishing the Bekaa Zakat Fund Endowment.
The Zakat Fund delegation presented an honorary shield as a mark of gratitude and respect for “Ghirass”.
