Dr. Malek Abu Rjeleh, Health Adviser and Middle East Program Representative at “Gift of the Givers,” accompanied by a delegation from “Ghirass” for Society Development, visited the Islamic Medical Association Center and the Civil Defense Headquarters in Beirut to discuss their contributions during and after the port explosion.
Dr. Abu Rjeleh was presented with a Memorial Shield in honor of the “Gift of the Givers,” and the people of South Africa for their support of the Lebanese people, especially given the country’s current circumstances.
Dr. Malik also visited “Ghirass” office and “Ghirass” Al-Amal schools for displaced Syrians in the Bekaa region, where he was briefed by the association’s executive director, Mr. Ziad Taqtaq, on “Ghirass” most notable projects as well as the urgent needs of various Lebanese and non-Lebanese groups at this crucial stage in Lebanon’s history.
