Through development, generations can advance, and the consequences of conflicts could be lifted off their shoulders.
This is what Ghirass for Society Development is discussing with a number of experts in the field of development and quality of life in the first seminar of the second Family Life Forum 2019, “Chapters We Narrate,” in order to find solutions to the problems of women’s development and empowerment, particularly in light of the globalization of human rights.
The seminar “A story of Development” included four papers:
1- The feminization of poverty and social justice (empowerment of women in conflict zones), given by Ms. Reem Radwan, an economic development consultant and researcher.
2- “Media and Sustainable Development,” delivered by Al-Jazeera journalist Asma Al-Hammadi.
3- “The responsibility of the parties to achieve development and quality of life (individuals – institutions – governments),” delivered by Ms. Ndelka Mandela, Nelson Mandela’s granddaughter and president of “Thembekile Mandela.”
4- “Humanizing Development: Transformations of the Concept of Development in the Light of Human Rights Globalization,” delivered by Dr. Said Bouziri, a jurist, researcher, and Secretary of the Scientific Council in Tizi Ouzou, Algeria.
